You Get to Be YOU
If you are feeling you aren't moving forward with your weight loss then ask yourself this question:
When was I uncomfortable and chose to feel it, work with it, or use another healthy tool to honor myself and my feelings?
You see, it may seem impossible so start small. Start with getting used to that feeling without using food to soothe it. Choose a low hanging fruit. Show yourself you can be with yourself.
One day at a time. And then slowly what happens is you are now using your challenge with food as FUEL (no pun intended) to create an even more authentic life. Why have an authentic life?
Because you now become the person you are before thought you couldn't be. We use food for wise reasons, until the we learn a new path, a new way.
I promise you - this kind of weight loss is not for the faint of heart. It's for the one who says "I will do whatever it takes to honor myself."
Then step back and watch the pushback. You will trigger anyone who is not fully showing up and you may even get "tall poppy" syndrome happening around you.
That's okay. We can work through that too. That is another version of fuel.
Every time you chose yourself over the food - you uplevel yourself. And when you uplevel self, you strip away others' ideas of how you should act, talk, think, and be. You get to be more of YOU. So the dreams you hide or dismiss so quickly suddenly get to feel the fresh air. You start thinking you have a voice. You start realizing no one is gonna stop me. You start being okay with not being liked. You really okay with honoring yourself.
I can't think of a better way to lay my head on my pillow.
